Lightweight Overhead Crane Configurations

Single Girder Lightweight Overhead Crane – ideal for manual lightweight lifting applications. Free moving design removes likelihood of crabbing.

Double Girder Lightweight Overhead Crane – offers greater stability when spanning longer distances than single girder cranes, but equally as free moving.

Low Headroom Lightweight Overhead Crane – the perfect solution for applications where headroom is critical. Niko Ltd can design and build lightweight overhead cranes to fit in areas as small as 350mm.

Cantilever Bridge Crane – telescopic bridges can be added to lightweight overhead cranes. This can offer a greater lifting footprint for working areas with limited access.

Monorail Crane – these are simple single track cranes that can lift and move items in a straight line, around bends, through switches and across turn tables. They can also latch into existing Niko cranes to achieve greater flexibility with your lifting applications.

Ceiling Mounted Lightweight Overhead Cranes

Niko lightweight overhead cranes can be suspended directly mounted onto your ceiling providing it is strong enough to take the weights carried by the crane. There are a number of ways that lightweight overhead cranes can be fixed to your ceiling:

Directly to ceiling
Dropped down on stools, threaded rod or wire rope
From reinforcing support beams attached to your ceiling
Through mezzanine floors

Freestanding Lightweight Overhead Cranes

An alternative to ceiling mounted lightweight overhead cranes is freestanding lightweight overhead cranes. This support structure bolts directly to your floor and supports itself and the lightweight overhead crane.
